The book is divided into eight units. The first unit provides an overview of educational technology. The fundamental concepts of educational technology, as well as its goals, scope, and methodologies, are examined. This unit also includes the primary resource centres at the state and national levels. The goals of this unit are to offer learners with a smooth transition into the realm of educational technology, to help learners distinguish between different types of technology in the field of education, to give them a better understanding of different technology approaches such as hardware, software, and system approaches, and to familiarise them with various agencies and their services.
